Mazkeret Batya (Hebrew: מזכרת בתיה) is a city in the central district of Israel , 25 km from Tel Aviv and 30 km from Jerusalem .
The city with a population of 14,680 (as of 2018) was founded in 1883. Due to its proximity to Tel Aviv, Mazkeret Batya is one of the most prosperous academic regions in the country.
Mazkeret Batya has been the twin town of Celle since 2008 .
