The McAllister Glacier is located in a large kartal north and east of the Dorado Needle in the North Cascades National Park in the US state of Washington . The glacier is approximately 1.85 mi (2.98 km) long, about 1.5 mi (2.4 km) wide at its end, and descends from 8,000 ft (2,438 m) to 4,500 ft (1,372 m) in height where it ends near an ice reservoir . McAllister Glacier is almost connected to Inspiration Glacier in the south; the two are separated by a glacier as Tepeh Towers designated ridge separated. The Klawatti peak and a northward extending ridge separating the McAllister Glacier from Klawatti Glacier to the east. Satellite imagery suggests that McAllister Glacier receded more than 500 ft (about 150 m) between 1998 and 2006.
