The McLaren Technology Group (until 2003 TAG McLaren Group until January 2015 McLaren Group ) is a 1985 founded company group from Ron Dennis to the one Formula team McLaren has been established.

Since 2010 the shareholders have been 30% of the Mumtalakat Holding Company of the State of Bahrain , 15% each of Ron Dennis and Mansour Ojjeh , the owner of TAG , and around 29% of the McLaren Group itself. The remaining 11% were still in the Owned by Daimler AG , which previously held 40% but reduced its stake after taking over Brawn GP and setting up its own Formula 1 team . In January 2012, Daimler AG sold all of its remaining stake back to the McLaren Group. As a result, Ron Dennis and the TAG Group now each held 25% of the shares, the remaining 50% are controlled by the Mumtalakat Holding Company of the State of Bahrain. In June 2017 Dennis sold his company shares and also withdrew from the management.
