The McLean Point is a headland on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . At the northern end of the Mule Peninsula , it is near the entrance to the Ellis Fjord .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after Ronald W. "Ron" McLean, radio supervisor at Davis Station in the Antarctic winter of 1969.
