Mechthild I. von Wohldenberg

Mechthild I. von Wohldenberg († 1223 ) was abbess of the Gandersheim monastery from 1196 to 1223 .

It came from the Wohldenberg family . Her brothers held the bailiwick over the monastery. As her chronicler Eberhard noted, she was able to report directly to the Pope. It had a seal and had coins minted.
