The medal "1300 Years of Bulgaria" ( Bulgarian Медал "1300 години България" ) is an award of the People's Republic of Bulgaria , which by decree no Services to the country was awarded.

stages

The award consists only of one stage, which was presented in two versions to residents and foreigners as well as to institutions and organizations.

Appearance

The round gold-plated medal shows the symbol of the rider of Madara in the middle of her obverse , a woman who holds a sword in her right hand and a horse behind it. On the reverse the three-line inscription 1300 / години / България (1300 years of Bulgaria). Two twigs tied together ( laurel on the right ; oak on the left ) can be seen under the inscription . A five-pointed star lies above its intersection .

Carrying method

People received the medal with a diameter of 32 mm on a white-green-red ribbon, the national colors of Bulgaria, and decorate the award on the upper left side of the chest. For institutions and organizations, it is a non-portable copy with a size of 60 mm.
