Medal in memory

The medal in remembrance was donated on August 10, 1867 by Duke Leopold IV. Friedrich von Anhalt-Dessau on the occasion of his 50th anniversary in government in silver and bronze .

It shows the intertwined initials LF (Leopold Friedrich), which are surmounted by a ducal crown. On the back there is the inscription ZUR ERINNERUNG and underneath an oak branch (right) and a laurel branch (left), which are held together by a ribbon.

The award was worn on a ribbon with bright red, green and white broad stripes on the left chest.
