Meg Kasdan
Meg Kasdan is an American screenwriter and film producer .
Life
Born Meg Goldman, Kasdan has been married to screenwriter and film director Lawrence Kasdan since 1971 . The marriage resulted in two sons, Jake and Jon . In the 1980s she appeared as an extra in some of her husband's films . In 1991 she and her husband wrote the screenplay for the film drama Grand Canyon - In the Heart of the City , on which she also worked as a producer. She and her husband were nominated for an Oscar for best original screenplay. They also received nominations for the Golden Globe Award and the WGA Award , but Thelma & Louise were victorious in all three awards .
