Mehdi Khalsi (* 6 June 1986 ) is a Moroccan boxer in the welterweight division . He was a participant in the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games .

Career

Khalsis first international tournament was the African Olympic qualifying tournament in 2008, where he for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing qualified. At the Olympic Games, however, he was eliminated in the first fight against Dilshod Mahmudov , Uzbekistan (11: 3).

At the championships of the Mediterranean countries in the following year, Khalsi reached the final, which he lost to Onder Sipal , Turkey (6-0), and thus won the silver medal.
