Mohammad Raouf Mehdi known as Mehdizadeh Kabuli ( Persian مهدیزاده کابلی) (born June 14, 1958 in Kabul ) and former lecturer at Kabul University , is an Afghan politician, writer and director of the Aryana Encyclopedia . He represented the Afghan refugees who emigrated to Iran in the two Afghan assemblies ( Loja Jirga ).

Life

He was born in Kabul , where he completed his elementary and secondary school as well as his university studies, and in 1981 received the title of lecturer at the Kabul Faculty of Engineering. In 1984 he was due to protest against the military occupation of Afghanistan by the Soviet Red Army Afghanistan leave and have to live in Iran for 20 years. He worked as executive and manager in various construction projects in Iran and, after the fall of the Taliban, took over the representation of Afghan refugees in Iran in the two Afghan Loja Jirga (assemblies). In the Loja Dschriga (assembly) of 2003 he opposed the epilogue “Islamic” for naming the Afghan state.

“ Mohammad Rauf Mehdi, who represented Afghan refugees in Iran, already collected signatures at the Loja Jirga . He was five votes short of being able to put his motion on the agenda. He was against this constitution because he wanted to prevent Afghanistan from becoming an Islamic republic.

He was therefore threatened by the Islamists and had to be protected by the UN. Even if he had gotten enough signatures, no one would have been willing to publicly justify such a motion in the face of warlords and Islamists. Mehdi was called a communist and a heretic by the chairman of the assembly, Sebgatullah Modjadedi. He was then quoted for a "conversation" by the two ultra-Islamists Sayaf and Rabani . Vendrell was forced to intervene and pointed out that he would have expected such behavior from the Taliban rather than from this meeting. "

He has also participated in international conferences such as Example Dialogue of Cultures between Iran and Afghanistan, International Afghanistan Conference in Berlin (2004).

Mehdizadeh is a democratic movement activist in Afghanistan. In 1999, in connection with the aims of this movement, he founded the Association of Afghan Engineers and was the elected board of this association for two periods.

He has lived in the Federal Republic of Germany since 2004 and completed his studies in engineering for industrial management in Dresden in 2007 . In addition, he is engaged in research and studies of Afghan history and the history of religions.
