Mehnatobod is located in the south of the Central Asian state of Tajikistan, near the border with the neighboring state of Afghanistan . The border river Pandsch flows in the south of the Jamoat .
Infrastructure
The water supply is a challenge for the region. To improve this, there are various projects, including the Tschubek irrigation system , which is also intended to improve the water supply in the Jamoat Mehnatobod. On June 2, 2011, an agreement was signed between Japan and Tajikistan that included the construction of pumping and storage facilities for water in Mehnatobod.
In 2010, a two-storey shop and a gas station were opened in Mehnatobod, and the opening of a new school in nearby Moskva in Nohija Hamadoni was also of importance for the region .
