The milestone in Kleutsch is a small monument in the city of Dessau-Roßlau in Saxony-Anhalt .

Since 1841, the Prussian mile has been the measure of length in Anhalt . It corresponds to 7.532 kilometers and so there are several milestones at exactly this distance around Dessau's zero point, the Leopold monument on Schloßplatz, for example near Kochstedt or Oranienbaum . Such a Anhalt round base stone can also be found in Kleutsch , southeast of Dessau's center. The 63 centimeter high milestone made of gray sandstone bears the inscription I Meile von Dessau . It was the first milestone south of Mildensee .

The whole milestone is under monument protection and is listed in the monument register with registration number 094 40172. It stands in Dorfstrasse and was renovated in 2000. Ten years later it received a frame and a gravel bed. Its importance for the place is also expressed in the fact that initially the consumer restaurant and later a newly founded restaurant in the vicinity were each called Am Meilenstein .
