The milestone at Quellendorf is a small monument in the city of Southern Anhalt in the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district in Saxony-Anhalt .

The not yet fully explored road from Dessau to Quellendorf , which was given at least two roads south of Quellendorf, one of which led via Storkau and the other via Fraßdorf , is no longer fully equipped with milestones. In addition to the milestone at Kochstedt and the milestone between Quellendorf and Fraßdorf (Kreisstraße 2077), there was a third milestone between Quellendorf and Storkau ( Landesstraße 136 ) until the 1990s .

Both milestones at Quellendorf bore the inscription II Meilen von Dessau , which made it clear that they were two branches of a road. Presumably there was even a third junction, because there are also milestones on the road to Hinsdorf (also state road 136). In these, however, the inscriptions are not known. Nevertheless, we must assume that there were three milestones in the Quellendorf area with the distance indication II miles from Dessau , but only one has been preserved.

This round base stone is about 500 meters south of the town exit towards Fraßdorf on the western side of the road. It is 64 centimeters high and is a listed building . It is registered as a monument in the monument register with registration number 094 70253 .
