A single mother, Annie Walker, tired of city life, accepts a position as deputy sheriff in a small town and moves her daughter there. Over time, however, your boss, Dave Ward, turns out to be violent and dangerous. He sexually harasses her in the workplace, beats an inmate, and makes drugs disappear. In addition, he terrorizes them to make them give in.

Over time, she also discovered that he was mistreating his secretary and that everyone in the area feared him. Nevertheless, she decides to fight back.
