Meinhard is a music project by the musician who is active under the same artist name.

history

In 2000 the musician Meinhard moved from his home in Lower Bavaria to Munich. Since 2004 he has been musically active under the artist name Jeremias Meinhard , since 2011 under the name Meinhard . Meinhard is accompanied by other musicians during his live performances. The project has been under contract with the Berlin independent label Out of Line since the end of 2012 and released the debut album Beyond Wonderland (co-producer John Fryer ) in 2013 , which was created as a concept album, inspired by Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland .

In addition to an appearance at the M'era Luna , Meinhard accompanied the band Lord of the Lost as an opening act in autumn 2014 . In the same year the second album, Alchemusic I - solve , was released, which was produced in collaboration with Thomas Hoffmann ( Qntal ). In December 2014 Meinhard then appeared in the opening act at the anniversary concert 15 Years Blutengel in Leipzig. While the project was working with Chris Harms as co-producer on the third album Alchemusic II - coagula in spring 2015 , it supported the band Blutengel as the opening act during their tour in 2015.

style

Meinhard names the music as influenced by alternative rock , glam rock , pop music and rock music , with elements from Gothic rock and visual kei . The musician describes his work as not clearly assignable to any genre . He combines pop and rock with other musical styles.
