The Meininger Verlag is a printing and publishing house in Neustadt on the Wine Route . It specializes in wine and beverage publications.

The company was founded in 1903 by Daniel Meininger and is one of the oldest German specialist publishers. The publisher's first trade journal came out under the title " Das Weinblatt ", a weekly publication with the subtitle "for real viticulture and wine trade". Today's trade journal "Weinwirtschaft" emerged from it. In 1929, the publishing director Daniel Meininger initiated the German Wine Festival and the election of the German Wine Queen . Today the publishing house is run by the fourth generation and has specialized primarily in wine and beverage publications for different target groups. The publisher stands for print and online as well as for numerous events such as international wine and beverage competitions, trade fairs and congresses. In 2014 he hosted his first Craft Beer Award.

The publishing house includes the special-interest magazine “Meiningers Weinwelt”, the specialist magazines “Weinwirtschaft” and “Getränke Zeitung”, as well as “Der Deutsche Weinbau” as the official organ of the German Viticulture Association and “Meiningers Sommelier”, the official organ of the sommelier -Union Germany. Julia Klöckner was an editor for the magazines "Meiningers Weinwelt" and "Meiningers Sommelier" from 2000 to 2002. From May 2001 until her full-time engagement in politics, she acted as editor-in-chief of the magazine “Meiningers Sommelier”.
