Industrially produced tit dumplings are available in various compositions, for example additionally with insects , nuts , fruit or berries .

Tit balls are attached hanging in suitable places such as trees, bushes or roofs.

criticism

In addition to the general criticism of artificial supplementary feeding, there is also the risk of the birds getting entangled in the net surrounding the dumplings. Also, very few, common bird species can benefit from this dosage form. Most other types, such as B. the robin, can not hold on to the net or only with great difficulty. For this reason, bird experts recommend using feeders and tit balls without a net.
