Melaleuca armillaris is a species ofthe myrtle family (Myrtaceae)native to Australia.

Melaleuca armillaris is a shrub and reaches heights of growth of up to 5 m. The bark is hard and cork-like. The leaves are alternate, linear, 12-25 mm long and about 1 mm wide. The tip is bent back, pointed, bare. The petiole is 1–2 mm long.
The inflorescences are multi-flowered, dense spikes 3–7 cm long. They stand low on the branches. The inflorescence axis is glabrous to woolly. The flowers stand individually in the axils of bracts. They are white, rarely pink. The petals are oval and 2–3 mm long.
The fruit is short, cylindrical and 3–5 mm in diameter. The opening is 2-4 mm. The sepals remain on the fruit.
Distribution and locations
Melaleuca armillaris is native to Australia and is found in the states of New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania. It is common in heather societies, often found near the coast.
