Melanie Hofmann (born December 21, 1977 ) is a Swiss dressage rider .

With the Swiss warmblood gelding Cazzago C , she represented Switzerland at the 2014 World Equestrian Games and at the 2013 European Championships in Herning , Denmark. There she achieved her best results so far, 9th place with the team and 48th place in the individual competition.

In 2013 she reached fourth place at the first FEI Nations Cup in dressage riding with the Swiss team on Cazzago C in Vidauban in the south of France .

In 2019 she started internationally with the dark brown Westphalian mare So Wie Du .

Melanie Hofmann is married to the Swiss dressage rider Gilles Ngovan. They have a daughter who was born in 2010. From 2010 to 2012 Hofman interrupted her sporting career to devote herself to her daughter.
