Melanie Lahmer
Melanie Lahmer (* 1974 in Rotenburg an der Fulda ) is a German author .
Life
Lahmer studied education, psychology and sociology and worked as an editor. She lives in Siegen with her husband and three daughters.
She first wrote columns and short crime novels. In 2009 Lahmer published her first crime novel “Bone Finder”, followed in 2014 with “Cuckoo Brood”, another episode about the protagonist Natascha Krüger from the Siegener Kripo. In 2016 and 2017 she wrote two romance novels under a pseudonym.
Melanie Lahmer is a member of the Murderous Sisters , the association of German-speaking crime writers.

- Awarded an artist-in-residence scholarship from the Kunststiftung NRW for the debut novel “Bone Finder” (2009) in the Künstlerdorf Schöppingen Foundation
