Melanie Wilson (born 1977 in London ) is an English performance artist and sound designer .

Life

Wilson makes performances , installations, films and audio works that focus on the "use of sound as a distinct and subjective agency", according to her self-description on her website. Wilson works with major artists and companies such as Rotozaza , Clod Ensemble , Chris Goode , Will Adamsdale and Becky Beasley . Their sound designs can be seen at numerous festivals and have made international guest appearances. a. Simple Girl (at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2007), Autobiographer ( Dublin Fringe Festival 2011), The View From Here (at BAC One on One Festival 2010) and Landscape II (at Dublin Festival 2013).

The artist has received several awards. For example, Melanie Wilson and Will Duke were invited to the British Council Shakespeare Reworked Project. Your project is called 'The Narrow World' and the studies for this will start in Tunisia in the autumn .
