Melanie Wolfers (born May 23, 1971 in Flensburg ) is a German theologian, religious and author living in Austria

Life

She had to give up her original plan to study the flute because she broke her shoulder when she fell from her horse. She studied theology and philosophy in Freiburg im Breisgau and Munich and did her doctorate in theological ethics . After completing her studies, she worked as a university chaplain in Munich.

In 2004 she entered the Order of the Salvatorians in Austria . She is one of the best-known Christian authors in the German-speaking world, an internationally sought-after speaker and Spiegel best-selling author .

She heads the IMpulsLEBEN project, which is aimed at young adults.
