Melissa Morrison-Howard

Melissa Morrison-Howard (born Morrison ; born July 9, 1971 in Mooresville , North Carolina ) is an American hurdler .

Morrison won the bronze medal in the 60-meter hurdles at the 2003 World Indoor Championships in Birmingham .

At the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, she won the bronze medal in the 100-meter hurdles behind Olga Schischigina (KAZ) and Glory Alozie (NGR). In the same discipline, she also won the bronze medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, behind the Americans Joanna Hayes (USA) and Olena Krassowska (UKR).

Melissa Morrison has a competition weight of 52 kg with a height of 1.63. In October 2004 she married Josephus Howard.
