In 2004 she finished second at the national indoor championships over 60 meters hurdles and won the gold medal over 100 meters hurdles at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens ahead of Olena Krassowska (UKR) and Melissa Morrison (USA). At the 2005 World Championships in Helsinki, she stumbled in the final of the 100 meter hurdles at the last hurdle and finished eighth.
