Annelie Ehrhardt , b. Jahns (until 1970) (born June 18, 1950 in Ohrsleben , Saxony-Anhalt ) is a former German athlete and Olympic champion who competed for the GDR .

Annelie Ehrhardt began her sporting career on May 1st, 1961 when she was accepted into the Halberstadt sports boarding school. In 1966 she achieved her first significant success in the children's and youth spartakiad by winning the 80 meter hurdles. In 1966 she switched to the sports boarding school of SC Magdeburg and was Spartakiade winner for the second time. At SCM she later trained with Klaus Wübbenhorst . Annelie Jahns won her first international title at the European Junior Games in Odessa in 1968 and two years later she married the canoeist Manfred Ehrhardt. In 1971 won Annelie Ehrhardt at the European Championships silver medal in the 100-meter hurdles , the 1974 was followed by the gold medal. At the XX. 1972 Olympic Games in Munich , she won the gold medal in the discharged for the first time as an Olympic discipline 100-meter hurdles in the world and Olympic record time of 12.59 seconds before the Romanian Valeria Bufanu (Silver) and also DDR -Deutschen Karin Balzer (Bronze ).
