Lyubov Ivanovna Nikitenko

Lyubov Ivanovna Nikitenko ( Russian Любовь Ивановна Никитенко , English transcription Lyubov Nikitenko, nee Кононова - Kononova - Kononova ; born December 6, 1948 in Qostanai ) is a former Soviet hurdler who specialized in the 100-meter hurdler .

In 1976 she was sixth over 60 m hurdles at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Munich and reached the semi-finals at the Olympic Games in Montreal .

In 1977 she won over 60 m hurdles at the European Indoor Championships in San Sebastián and came third at the World Cup in Athletics in Düsseldorf .

In 1971, 1973 and 1977 she was the Soviet champion over 100 m hurdles outdoors, in 1972 and 1976 over 60 m hurdles indoors.
