Grażyna Józefa Rabsztyn (born September 20, 1952 in Wrocław, German: Breslau ) is a former Polish athlete and two-time world record holder in the 100-meter hurdles .

Career

1974 to 1976 she was European indoor champion in the 60-meter hurdles, she won further medals at the European indoor championships in 1972 as third in the 50-meter hurdles and 1978 to 1980 as second in the 60-meter hurdles.

Grażyna Rabsztyn set a world record in the 100 meter hurdles in 1978 with 12.48 seconds and improved it in 1980 (12.36; Polish record to the present day). It was not until 1986 that she lost it to the Bulgarian Jordanka Donkowa (12.35 s).

At the Polish indoor championships she won gold in the 60-meter hurdles in 1975 and 1976 , and silver in this discipline in 1974, 1978, 1979 and 1980. In 1972, at the beginning of her sporting career, she won the bronze medal.

Grażyna Rabsztyn had a competition weight of 63 kg with a height of 1.72 m.
