Eline Berings

Eline Berings (born May 28, 1986 in Gent ) is a Belgian athlete who takes part in the 100-meter hurdles . In 2005 she was junior world champion and as a senior she won the gold medal at the European Indoor Championships over 60 meter hurdles in 2009 .

As a junior she finished seventh at the Junior European Championships, missed the final at the Junior World Championships in 2004 and won the gold medal at the Junior European Championships. She took part in the 2006 European Championships in Gothenburg , but with a time of 13.42 s she was eliminated after the first round. She was also at the 2007 European Indoor Championships, where she was eighth.

Awards

In 2010 she received the Golden Spike as Belgium's best female athlete in 2009. Jonathan Borlée was honored with her .
