Memento Mori is the second studio album by the US post-grunge band Flyleaf and was released on November 10th, 2009. The title is the Latin phrase of the same name , which means “remember that you have to die” in German.

Creation and publication

Like the debut album " Flyleaf " this was also produced by Howard Benson and recorded at Bay 7 Studios, California .

The two songs Chasm and Circle were played for the first time in August 2009 before the album was released on a tour in Afghanistan for the armed forces of the United States . Again was released on August 25, 2009 as the first single on the radio and on iTunes . In the first week of its release, the album sold 56,000 copies and reached eighth place on the Billboard Hot 100 .
