The Memphis Hustle are an American basketball team of NBA G-League , which in Southaven (State Mississippi is home).

history

On January 23, 2017, it was announced that the Iowa Energy would no longer belong to the Memphis Grizzlies , but to the Minnesota Timberwolves . That same day, the Memphis Grizzlies also announced that they would be establishing a central / southern expansion team in Southaven, Mississippi, approximately 16 miles from their home ground, the FedEx Forum .

On May 30, 2017, Glynn Cyprien was appointed head coach and Chris Makris was appointed general manager of the team. On June 1, the Memphis Grizzlies released the name and logo of the newly formed team that would play in the NBA G-League.
