The 5.6 m high Menhir do Outeiro (also called Menhir de Motrinos or Penedo Comprido (long boulder)) is located near Reguengos de Monsaraz in the Évora district in the Alentejo in Portugal , about 400 m north of the road from Aldeia do Outeiro to Barrada, at a fork in dirt roads.

The menhir is the second largest in Portugal. In the mid-1960s, the long lying stone, which has a hole at one end and thus clearly belongs to the series of phallic menhirs, was identified as such and erected again around 1970. The oldest menhirs were found in Portugal between 5000 and 4000 BC. Set up. The age of this menhir is unclear.

The seven meter high Menhir da Meada is the largest on the Iberian Peninsula .

The Cromlech of Xerez and the Menhir da Bulhoa stand / stood near Monsaraz .
