The menhir of Lindenholzhausen is a prehistoric menhir from Lindenholzhausen , a district of Limburg an der Lahn in the Limburg-Weilburg district in Hesse . It was discovered in 1980 and erected in the neighboring town of Ennerich , a district of Runkel .
location
The stone was found near Lindenholzhausen on the parcel “Auf den Hier”. Today it stands east of Ennerich near the confluence of a field path from the road leading to Runkel into another field path.
description
There is no information about the material of the menhir. It is plate-shaped and tapers towards the top. The stone has a height of 183 cm, a width of 175 cm and a thickness of 49 cm.
