Menhir of Villaumur

The menhir of Villaumur stands near the dam of Cantache in Pocé-les-Bois near Vitré in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in Brittany in France .

The quartz menhir , which was overturned in 1971, was erected on the edge of the property on which it originally lay. Its height is about two meters with a width of 1.6 meters and a maximum thickness of 0.9 meters.

The menhir La Haute Pierre, 800 meters away, and the menhirs in Pocé-les-Bois, the menhir in Villaumur and La Pierre Blanche are on a line.
