Mennsdorf is a district of Paitzdorf in the Greiz district in Thuringia .

The municipality of Paitzdorf and the district of Mennsdorf are about 15 kilometers east of Gera . Ronneburg can be reached 5 kilometers southwest. Mennsdorf can be called a satellite village because it is close to Paitzdorf. Both villages can be reached via local roads. The uranium mining area of the SDAG was located very close by.
history
The district was first mentioned in a document in 1181/1214. On July 1, 1950, Mennsdorf was incorporated into Paitzdorf. 390 inhabitants live in the district.
