Meoqui , also Pedro Meoqui , is a Mexican city ​​in the state of Chihuahua . According to the 2010 census, it had 22,574 inhabitants. Meoqui is the administrative seat of the Municipio Meoqui .

With Hermila García , Meoqui got the first woman in Mexico to head a community police on October 9, 2010. On November 29, 2010, her car was stopped by strangers. They forced them to get out and shot them. The act is seen in connection with the Mexico drug war .
