Mercedes Jadea Diaz (born July 7, 2000 in Germany ) is a German actress and child actress .
Life
Mercedes Jadea Diaz stood for the first time at the age of five for the commercial "Paulas Pudding" by Dr. Oetker in front of the camera, followed by smaller roles in film, television and advertising productions. For example, she was seen in the crime series SOKO 5113 and Der Alte as well as in the film drama The White Ribbon - A German Children's Story .
In 2009, at the age of nine, she became famous for her role as "Ylvi" in Wickie and the Strong Men . For this, Diaz, together with Michael Bully Herbig and Jonas Hämmerle, was awarded the Bambi in the Best Film category nationally and has since been the youngest recipient of the Golden Deer. In 2010 she played one of the leading roles for children in the TV romance comedy Love is not forgotten . In Wickie on the Great Voyage , she was seen again in the role of Wickie's friend “Ylvi”.
Jadea Diaz is currently attending a linguistic high school in the Munich district.
