Merete Voldstedlund
Merete Voldstedlund (born February 8, 1946 in Odense ) is a Danish actress .
Life
Merete Voldstedlund completed her acting studies at Den Danske Scenekunstskole in 1973 . Since then she has worked at various theaters. So she played at Aalborg Teater , Aarhus Teater and Folketeatret . She has been nominated and awarded several prizes for her portrayals. In 2010 she was awarded the national theater prize Reumert for three different performances as best supporting actress .
In parallel to her theater career, Voldstedlund has played in over 20 film and television productions since the mid-1970s. Although she played the leading role in the two miniseries Ludvigsbakke and Vores år , Voldstedlund was unable to establish herself in the film sector and has only played supporting roles since then.
Voldstedlund is married to the actor Lars Høy .
