Merl (Luxembourg)
Merl ( Luxembourgish : Märel) is a district in the west of Luxembourg City . At the end of 2016, 5,381 people lived in the quarter. The area of the district is 242 hectares. The number of residents is growing steadily.
history
Until 1920 Merl still belonged to the then independent municipality Hollerich .
