Merlin Bronques

Merlin Bronques (born April 28, 1969 in Brooklyn , New York City ) is an American photographer and musician . He became known for his party photos that he published on his website lastnightsparty.com .

Life

Merlin Bronques lived temporarily in Montreal and Aylmer (Québec) , Canada or in New York City , USA . He studied music at Concordia University in Montreal in the 1990s. With his bands Ma , NAM: LIVE! or as a solo artist Merlin , he was mostly popular as a musician in Canada and released several albums on labels such as MCA Records or Dekathlon Records. Bronques has been a party photographer since October 2004 . He visits hip locations all over the world and photographs party guests, musicians, DJs but also hotel rooms, streets or squares and publishes these photos on his website. Bronques father had a photo studio, but Bronques himself had not completed any photography training. He also photographed numerous celebrities, including Madonna and David Bowie .
