Meron Hagos Teshome (born July 13, 1992 in Asmara ) is an Eritrean cyclist.

Athletic career

2014 was Meron Teshome together with Natnael Berhane , Meron Russom and Daniel Girmazion African champions in the team time trial and the same year Eritrean champion in the road race. In 2015 he won gold in the individual time trial at the Africa Games . During this time he drove for the junior team at MTN Qhubeka .

In 2016 Teshome received a contract with the German racing team Bike Aid . Until 2018 he won several stages in African cycling races. In 2017 he was two-time African champion , in individual and team time trials (with Abrham Brhane , Amanuel Gebreigzabhier and Awet Habtom ). In 2018 he started the road race of the African Championships , but could not finish it. The following year he became African team time trial champion with Yakob Debesay , Mekseb Debesay and Sirak Tesfom .
