Methyl Ethel is an Australian rock band from Perth , who are under contract with the record label 4AD . Her style was described by the music magazine NME as "spooky psychedelic rock".
Career
The debut album Oh Inhuman Spectacle was released in 2015 on the Australian label Dot Dash Recordings, which is a sub-label of Remote Control Records and is exclusively open to Australian music projects. In 2018 the single Scream Whole reached number 1 on the charts of the Austrian public radio station FM4 .
Their third album Triage was released in February 2019. The band commissioned James Ford (Simian Mobile Disco, Klaxons , Arctic Monkeys ) as co-producer. According to Allmusic , practically all compositions come from the project founder and mastermind Jake Webb.
