The L11 is a metro line of the Barcelona Metro . The line has five stations, all of which are in the tunnel. The route length is 2.3 kilometers. The line runs from the Trinitat Nova station in the northern district of Nou Barris to the city of Montcada i Reixac, which borders Barcelona to the north .

history

The route was opened in 2003.

Every year around 1.2 million passengers (as of 2016) use the air-conditioned L11 cars, which makes them the least frequented line in the metro network. A trip from end point to end point takes about six minutes. The trolleys on line 11 have been running fully automatically on the entire route since 2010 - i.e. without a driver.
