The L10 is a metro line of the Barcelona Metro . The line consists of 2 parts, the L10 North and L10 South. The length of the northern section is currently 5.4 kilometers and includes six stations, all of which are located in the tunnel. The southern section is 4.5 kilometers long and currently includes eight stations. The line runs on the one hand from the La Sagrera station in the northern district of Sant Andreu to the city of Badalona, which is northeast of Barcelona (northern section), and on the other hand from the Collblanc station to the current terminus Zona Franca (southern section).

history

The Llefià station

The first section was opened in April 2010. This makes it the youngest line on the Barcelona Metro. Most of the line is currently under construction. After completion, the line should have a total length of more than 40 kilometers, which would make it one of the longest underground underground lines in Europe. In addition, the line's underground stations are the deepest in the Barcelona metro network. The original plans were for the line to be fully operational by 2014. Line 9, which is also under construction, runs parallel to line 10 for about half of the route. For this purpose, double-storey tunnels were built so that they run one above the other through Barcelona.
