Metropolitan Theater is a theater and cinema name that has been popular since the late 19th century. Metropolis means big city and was a magical term in the time of European urbanization . Metropolitan theaters showed "modern" forms of theater such as the operetta , the revue , the variety or other variants of cabaret and later the film.
