Martha Elisabeth Pankau called Mia , also Maria Pankau (born February 14, 1891 in Preußisch Friedland , West Prussia ; † November 6, 1974 in Hoisdorf , Germany ) was a German silent film actress .

Life

Her parents are waiting for master carpenter Albert Pankau († 1896) and his wife Anna (née Laschetzki, † 1895), the couple had eight children. Mia Pankau was married to the director Jaap Speyer . She had her first appearance in his film When Women Love and Hate . She last appeared in the film Dancers Wanted for South America , which was also her only sound film.
