Michał Łoniewski (born October 22, 1988 ) is a Polish Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 68 kilograms.

Łoniewski fought his first international title fights at the 2003 Junior European Championships in Athens , where he was defeated by Daniel Manz in the quarterfinals in the 48 kilogram class . Two years later he also took part in the adult division in the European Championship in Riga , but was eliminated in his opening fight. The 2006 European Championship in Bonn was more successful , where Łoniewski reached the quarter-finals. In the following years he had to accept several first round defeats in the title fights. However, Łoniewski found his way back to success at the European Olympic qualification tournament in Kazan in early 2012 . He reached the final against Damir Fejzić in the weight class up to 68 kilograms and qualified for his first Olympic Games in London in 2012 .
