Micha Goldman
Micha Goldman ( Hebrew מיכה גולדמן; * October 10, 1948 in Kfar Tabor ) is a former Israeli politician who was a Knesset member of the HaMa'arach and Avoda from 1988 to 1999.
Live and act
Goldman studied self-government management at Haifa University and worked in agriculture. He was the council chairman of Kfar Tavor and served on the Haifa University trustee committee. He was also a member of the Olympic Committee, on the board of directors of the local government bank, and on Rafael's board of directors from 1984 to 1988. In the 1988 elections, the HaMa'arach was first put on the electoral list . In the 1992 elections he was put on the Avoda electoral list and confirmed in his mandate. He was then appointed Deputy Minister of Education on August 4, 1992 . When Shimon Peres formed a new government in November 1995 (after the assassination of Rabin), Goldman was again deputy minister of education and served until June 18, 1996. After the 1996 elections, he lost his mandate. But became chairman of the committee of inquiry in the case of the collapse of the bridge at the Maccabiade on July 14, 1997 and chairman of the committee for internal affairs and the environment. In the 1999 elections, he was placed 35th on the electoral list of Jisra'el Agate . Since the party only received 26 seats, he lost his mandate.
