Michael Čulo

Michael Čulo (born September 12, 1980 in Bietigheim-Bissingen ) is a German church musician , choir director and composer .

Education

He studied church music in Rottenburg and Tübingen with the main subjects choir conducting, organ literature playing and improvisation, singing and composition / composition.

Compositions

With his composition and the light shines in the darkness , he won the Red Ribbon Award from AIDS-Hilfe Tübingen-Reutlingen eV

He wrote commissioned compositions for the Symphony Orchestra of the City of Ludwigsburg , for the Stuttgart Stiftskantor KMD Kay Johannsen and the soprano of the Neue Vocalsolisten, Sarah Maria Sun.

Professional activities

Čulo was assistant at the Domsingschule in Rottenburg / Neckar from 2004 to 2007 and then assistant to KMD Kay Johannsen at the Stiftskirche Stuttgart and LKMD Prof. Siegfried Bauer in the office for church music of the Evangelical Church in Württemberg and from April 2009 to September 2019 district cantor in Nürtingen.
