Michael Barth Kamphambe-Nkhoma (born August 26, 1947 ) is a Malawian diplomat .

Life

He completed his school education in 1967 with a Cambridge School Certificate and studied diplomacy at the Institute of Public Administration at the University of Malawi until 1971 . From 1971 to 1973 he worked in the office of the President and the Cabinet. This was followed by a position in the Malawian Ministry of Finance until 1981. In 1981 he became State Secretary and returned to the office of the President and the Cabinet until 1989. In 1989 he worked for the National Audit Office before returning to the Office of the President and Cabinet in 1992, where he worked until 2004.

From 2004 to 2006 he was the Malawian High Commissioner in South Africa , Namibia , Botswana and Lesotho .

On November 10, 2015, he was accredited as Malawian ambassador to Germany based in the Malawian embassy in Berlin . On May 19, 2016, a secondary accreditation also took place at the Holy See , on September 28, 2016 in Poland , on October 24, 2016 in Austria, on October 3, 2017 in Russia , on May 2, 2018 in the Czech Republic and Slovakia .

Michael Barth Kamphambe-Nkhoma speaks Chichewa and English .
