Michael Beurskens

Michael Beurskens (born May 11, 1977 in Krefeld ) is a German lawyer and professor at the University of Passau .

Career

Beurskens began studying law at the University of Düsseldorf in 1995 , which he completed in 1999 with the first state examination in law. He also studied computer science with a minor in business administration at the FernUniversität Hagen . After the second state examination in September 2003, he became in 2004 a research associate at Ulrich Noack , in which he in 2007 with a study on liability for disappointed shareholder confidence for Dr. iur. received his doctorate. In 2013 he completed his habilitation with a thesis on private self-help . 2015 he took a call to the University of Bonn. On April 1, 2018, Beurskens accepted an offer for a W3 professorship at the University of Passau.
